Sales Tax Holidays in July

The Legislature has enacted a sales tax holiday period in July 2008

July 12 – 13: all non-business purchases of property with selling price of $2,000 or less are exempt from the Vermont Sales Tax.

July 14 – 20: the holiday is continued but only for Energy Star qualified appliances.
