Legal Interpretations

The legal division represents the Department at a variety of legislative and administrative policy-making functions and hearings. The division promulgates rulings, regulations and technical bulletins based upon legislative mandates. Finally, it provides a forum for hearing tax appeals and issues determinations on such appeals.
