- The Education Property Taxes: Guidelines for Treasurers and Collectors provides detailed information regarding the levy of the FY16 education taxes, and the application of the property tax adjustments.
- The Secretary of State’s office has provided the general public with a Guide to Vermont’s Town Clerks, Treasurers & County Clerks. This guidebook is a compendium of the physical and mailing address for each city and town. The guide also includes an up to date listing of current Town Clerks and Treasurers in office.
- The Vermont League of Cities and Towns has created a Handbook for Vermont Municipal Treasurers. This handbook is a complete overview of the duties and responsibilities of local government positions in Vermont.
- Property tax adjustment amounts and the balances due on homestead property tax bills are confidential. However, a municipal officer may disclose both of these pieces of information to qualifying recipients.
